Homecomer in Tanjung Priok Port Increasing 10 Percent

The number of people who want to take homecoming in Tanjung Priok Port is predicted to hit 32 thousand passengers. It is predicted to increase 10 percent than last year, which was 28 thousand passengers.

At the same period last year, there were only 3,472 passengers or 69.07 percent

Section Head of Sea, Operation and Port for Tanjung Priok Port Authority, Hemanta disclosed that decrease in the number of ship passenger has been going on since 18-10 days before Eid ul Fitr. As many as 9,900 homecomers are departed to all regions of Indonesia.

"At the same period last year, there were only 3,472 passengers or 69.07 percent," he expressed, Tuesday (6/27).

For serve homecomer during homecoming flow, his side has alerted 18 ships. 9 out of them are KM Umsini, KM Ciremai, KM Dobonsolo, KM Kelud, KM Dorolonda, KM Lawit, KM Tidar, KM GN Dempo and KM Bukit Raya which are from PT Pelni. 

Then the rest are belonging private side.

"In overall, this year's homecoming will predictably increase 10 percent. People who want to take homecoming do not worry, we prepare fleet quite a lot," he finished.
